Cart plugin

has some worked with the cart plugin jet?

How to set the item_tax_rate ?
How to delete an item?

Is this implemented jet?

The option to add a customer as new contact seams to work
but i can't manage to add a new customer to a specific privacy group.

and... i don't not really understand the superscription module - does it work?

Tax rate and deletion is not yet implemented. Adding new contacts to a privacy group worked the last time i tried - i do not think anything changed since than...

I dealt with sales tax based on customer location for years, so just reading that sends shivers up my spine.

@𝓒𝓱𝓻𝓲𝓼 yes, in the addon settings make sure to enter both the production and the sandbox key and disable the use production key setting...

@Mario Vavti Ok fount it -"Use Production Key" but the sandbox credentials do not work as expected...

now it did a test with the production keys turned on...

Add/Remove Service Items > Activation Commands > Add purchaser to the selected privacy group

does also not work with the paypal module for me... i expect that the purchaser is added automatically after the paypal transaction - the item get marked as "paid" but the contact is not added to the privacy group :-(

so i doppelt checked

Add/Remove Service Items > Activation Commands > Add purchaser as a channel connection

and

Add/Remove Service Items > Activation Commands > Add purchaser to the selected privacy group

in one step does not work for a specific privacy group other than the default privacy group

if it is done in two steps / transactions

Add/Remove Service Items > Activation Commands > Add purchaser as a channel connection

does work fine - purchaser is added as connection to the default privacy group

and than the second transaction

Add/Remove Service Items > Activation Commands > Add purchaser to the selected privacy group

it does not work to add the contact to a specific privacy group - nothing happens :-(

would be great if someone could check if the behaviors i described are true also on other servers/installations so that we could mark this as a bug or not.

The addon works, but i can not delete the items once created. that seems to be the only limitation.
Paypal also works.
Subscriptions can be added.
Adding order options has a broken interface. needs fixing.
I keep getting https redirection errors in between while saving items. Not sure if this is related to plugin or something else.

@𝓒𝓱𝓻𝓲𝓼 No, i was unable to test that since on making a purchase i get a http redirect error and the cart remains empty. So i could only test upto adding items to the catalog.
On clicking continue i get redirected back to the catalog.

An other question is how to get the hz cart payment options also to work better with AP / masto accounts. Right now it all works just if the purchaser has manages to get a HZ account.

For now it would be good to know it the option

@𝓒𝓱𝓻𝓲𝓼 I can confirm, this does not work on placing an order. ~~Neither does Add purchaser as connection~~ Adding as connection works, upon order confirmation.

Also, readability in dark mode is very bad for activation/deactivation commands.

I haven't played with the cart addon in awhile, but if I remember right, some things could only be configured by command line, because the UI was broken.

the cart plug is a start and does already some quid useful thing - if

add/Remove Service Items > Activation Commands > Add purchaser to the selected privacy group

would work :-)
